Wedding Card: Happy I Do Day

Weddings are a wonderful opportunity to create some beautiful and romantic papercraft projects.    Here is an easel card I created for one of my customers who got married this weekend.  Flowers and butterflies seem to match the spirit of the occasion, expressing the joy and beauty of the ceremony as well as the hopes and dreams of starting a life together.

I love the "Happy I Do Day" stamp from Stampin' Up!s Word Play set–which happens to be on sale this month for 30% off.  You can see a picture of all the sentiments in the set in this post on the National Scrapbooking Month promotion.

Here is a close up of the cake.  I embossed Very Vanilla card stock with the Finial Press Embossing Folder for the cake tiers.  The flowers were made with one of the Itty Bitty Punches, and embellished with tiny Basic Pearls.  The Wild Wasabi leaves were made with the Two-Step Bird Punch.  And the butterflies were made with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit.
