Dragonfly Dreams Bundle for Exquisite Handmade Cards!

The Dragonfly Dreams Bundle from Stampin’ Up! will inspire you to make exquisite handmade cards.  You’ll use this bundle over and over, for a birthday, thank you, thinking of you, friendship, and all occasions when you want a bit of nature in your theme.  It will even make great masculine cards!  Just ditch the doily, of course!

Here’s a sample to help you get your creative juices going!  The color scheme is simple:  Pool Party, Tip Top Taupe, Whisper White, and silver.

The stamp set and dies are to die for (pun intended)!  There are several ways to combine the images and dies for some very elegant results!

In this sample, I used the 2-step dragonfly stamps.  The dragonfly wings were stamped with Pool Party, and the detail image was embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.  Don’t you think that captures the ephemeral, shimmery look of a real dragonfly?  The Silver Metallic Thread adds to the motif, and the Doily highlights the artwork.

The background was made with the new Hexagons Dynamic Embossing Folder.  The Cable Knit Folder from the Holiday Catalog was Stampin’ Up!’s first Dynamic Folder.  They’re both quite thick, and give a very deep, 3-Dimensional impression.   The Hexagons make the perfect background for dragonflies and bees!

The Hexagon Dynamic Embossing Folder and the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle (save 10% when you purchase the dies and stamps in a bundle) will be available to purchase on January 4th, when the new 2017 Occasions Catalog goes live.  If you’re inspired by what you see here at Stamping Madly, become one of my customers, and I’ll send you the catalogs for free.  Use this link to request a catalog:  2017 Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Catalogs.  After a quick phone call to confirm your information, you’ll find the catalogs in your mailbox in no time!

Meanwhile, you’ll just have to dream about the exquisite handmade cards you’ll create with the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle from Stampin’ Up!

After caseing your card, I had so much fun making them out of silly colors. I was amazed that i forgot to finish the cards. Just playing with the colors was relaxing and I needed this. I know I’m running a month behind but I’ll get back in the run of things. I forgot to order the bugs , I think.hint, hint.
