Spooky Fun for Handmade Halloween!

If you want some ideas for fun handmade Halloween projects, the Spooky Fun Bundle from Stampin’ Up! will get you started!  Whether you want to make cards, treat holders, or decorate gift boxes, you’ll love this Halloween inspiration!  The Bundle includes the Spooky Fun Stamp Set and coordinating Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies.

Some of my Demonstrator friends get together to stamp every month, and they’ve graciously shared some Spooky Fun projects they did recently.  Here’s a simple card from Linda Hill, which makes good use of the images and dies from the Bundle:

If you want to step it up a little, try a Side-Step Card, like this one from Carolyn Green.  A Side-Step Card gives you a great opportunity to create depth and dimension in the layers.  All the images and die-cuts are from the Spooky Fun Bundle, and you can see how versatile it is!

Eva Davalos contributed these fun projects.  She loves to create little boxes and treat holders.  Here’s one of the 3″ x 3″ x 3″ White Gift Boxes from the Holiday Catalog all dressed up for Halloween.  The paper on the side of the Box is the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper.  What an awesome tag she put on top.  You’ll see a better image of it in the next project.

She created this 5-sided box using the Gift Bag Punch Board, and the Halloween Night DSP. I love the tag she created using the Layering Circles Framelits, with all the detailed embellishments she uses so artfully.

The 5-sided box looks like a star from the top, which might come in handy with your Christmas projects:

Leave a comment, and I’ll make sure Linda, Carolyn, and Eva see them.  I’m sure they’ll appreciate your feedback!

I hope these photos give you some inspiration for your handmade Halloween projects, using the Spooky Fun Stamp Set and coordinating Halloween Scenes Edgelits!
