One of my career paths was as a nurse midwife, and I was blessed to deliver many babies.  When I saw this sentiment in the First Sight stamp set, it brought to mind all those first sights I witnessed over the years.

You can see other cards using First Sight in these posts:  Elegant Handmade Card, Joy Fold Friendship Card.

As a mother, this card would definitely melt my heart!  Do you need to tell your mother, or help someone else tell their mother, how much they’re loved?  Try casing this card.

The flowers from Awesomely Artistic are stunning when colored.  The image is stamped with Tip Top Taupe ink, which makes it much softer than using black ink.  Then it was colored with the brush tip of Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Markers.  The sentiment is stamped in Blackberry Bliss, repeating the color of the card base.  Splitting the sentiment gives the eye a nice diagonal path to follow, and the subtle addition of Venetian Crochet Trim on the Very Vanilla background adds to the elegance.

In order to split the sentiment, you’ll need to mask your stamp.  Here’s a video showing that technique:
