To whet your appetite a bit, I worked up a sample for you using the Hearth and Home Framelits with the Happy Scenes stamp set.  These items come in a bundle, which will save you 15% off the price of buying the items separately!

I can’t show pictures of items from the catalog until tomorrow, but I think you’ll like this stamp set!  It’s got scenes and sayings for winter, Christmas, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. The window frame is shown in the catalog turned 90 degrees, but if you use it in this orientation, more of the scene shows through the “window.”  Then I added the fireplace mantel shape as an indoor window box.

The images are perfect for watercoloring, as in this sample.  You could also use Markers and Blender Pens.  Don’t you love the two tone watercolor wash that forms the background for the images?  Leave a comment if you want to see a video on how to do this technique!
