Here’s some good news about the Hello Thinlits: They’re back in stock and orderable again! Yippee!
If you’re a newsletter subscriber, you received the instructions for this card when the March issue came out last Tuesday. I had to apologize for creating a featured project using Thinlits that weren’t available to order. I just checked the backorder list, and the Hello Thinlits are off the list, and you can once again order them either by themselves, or in the bundles with the Crazy about You stamp set!
Crazy about You is a very versatile stamp set, which is what I look for when picking out new stamps. I want sets that will give me plenty of options for several different ways to use the stamps, and this one does that really well! It has 33 stamps that you can put together in different combinations for many kinds of celebrations. It has three useful images as well, and I made use of the leaves to stamp the lovely background in this card.
It’s large stamp sets like this that convinced me to start buying photopolymer sets because the price difference is significant! Wood mount is $51.95, clear mount is $38.95, and photopolymer is only $24.95! Now that I’m used to photopolymer, I’ll keep buying them when that option is available. They’re a little trickier to use because they don’t have the foam cushioning of rubber stamps. But I love that I don’t have to use the Stamp-a-ma-jig with them most of the time!
To make up for the lack of a foam layer on the photopolymer stamps, you can just use the Stampin’ Pierce Mat or a few sheets of craft foam under your work.
Now check out the Hello Thinlits, and see what great combinations you can get with the die-cut words and stamped sayings:

Of course if you buy the bundle you’ll save 15% off the price of purchasing dies and stamps separately.
With all the backorder mess we’ve had, I’m happy to tell you the good news that the Hello Thinlits are available to order once again!
