The Lotus Blossom stamp set is FREE from Stampin’ Up! during their annual give-away, Sale-a-Bration.. Before I show a sample of the Lotus Blossom stamp set, and a video about how to use it, let me tell you all about Sale-a-Bration!
Cardmakers and paper crafters know what a great time of year this is to stock up on supplies, because of all the FREE merchandise they can earn from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog. The special stamps, embellishments, and Designer Series Paper in the catalog are ONLY available during Sale-a-Bration, which runs through March 31st. Just order $50 worth of ANY Stampin’ Up! merchandise, and you’ll earn one FREE item.
You won’t find these products anywhere else after that date, so if you want them, now’s the time! The one exception is a special offering of Blendabilities, the alcohol markers you first saw last June in the Annual Catalog. If you’ve hesitated to add more markers to your craft room, this is a wonderful opportunity to try them out.
If you love coloring images, these markers can’t be beat! Each of the 12 original color assortments is available as a FREE item during Sale-a-Bration. But remember, if you order them as your FREE merchandise, you have to use the item numbers in the Sale-a-Bration Catalog. If you use the numbers in the Annual Catalog, you’ll be charged for them. 😥

If you love flower stamps, and can always find room for one more, the Sale-a-Bration set Lotus Blossom is sure to tempt you, especially because it is a unique three-step stamp. Look at the beautiful image you can get by stamping the layers in three coordinating colors.
For this card I used Crisp Cantaloupe, both full strength, and then stamped off first. The lightest layer was done with Blushing Bride. For a bolder look, I used Blackberry Bliss and Rich Razzleberry on this sample:
Lotus Blossom is a photopolymer set, so you can do the three layers of stamps without using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. It took me a few practice tries to get the technique down of looking through the photopolymer to line up the layers. I made a video for you with the tips I learned in the process.
