More Blendabilities Alcohol Markers are coming soon from Stampin’ Up! Six colors were released to customers on July 1st, and the remaining six colors will be available starting Friday, August 1st! You can see an announcement about the earlier release in this post: Waiting for Blendabilities?, with more samples in these posts: Corner Garden Stamp and What are Blendabilities?
If you love to color stamped images for your handmade cards and paper craft projects, you’ll want to add these new colors to your craft room! I knew you’d want to see a sample made with some of the new colors, so I created this card to show off the Wisteria Wonder and Calypso Coral Blendabilities.
The stamp is from the Hostess set “I Like You,” which has four floral images perfect for coloring! Learn about earning Hostess sets in this post: Free Stuff.
Don’t you just love the shading and contouring you can get with alcohol markers. They work very differently than our other markers, which are water-based. You can learn about the difference in the post, What are Blendabilities?
If you’re like me, you’ll be happy to see some of the softer colors in the Stampin’ Up! palette in this release. Remember, each color comes in an assortment of three markers: Light, medium, and dark. Here’s a list of the newest colors and item numbers:
- Calypso Coral (130996)
- Crumb Cake (131004)
- Melon Mambo (130994)
- Night of Navy (131001)
- Smoky Slate (131005)
- Wisteria Wonder (131002)
When you’re ready to play with these great new markers, be sure you include these accessories:
- Color Lifter (129369), which will help you blend and shade the colors.
- Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (132708), which is the only black ink from Stampin’ Up! that won’t smudge with alcohol markers.
