If you’re tired of waiting to order Blendabilities, you’ll be happy to know that Stampin’ Up! has finally published a release date of July 1st. That’s next Tuesday!
Here’s another sample of a flower and leaves colored with Blendabilities. The images are from a Hostess set called Bloom with Hope. I’ll have more information on how YOU can earn this set, as well as a photo of the entire card, in my next post.
Don’t you just love all the shading and contouring you can get with alcohol markers? And of course they coordinate with the Stampin’ Up! colors. This flower is colored with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, and Cherry Cobbler. If you want to create professional looking, hand-colored images to your cardmaking and paper crafting projects, then be sure you have Blendabilities on your wishlist!
In order to avoid backorder issues, Stampin’ Up! held back the release of Blendabilities to customers until they had adequate inventory. You’ll be able to order the same items that Demonstrators pre-ordered in May, which is how we’ve been able to create samples for you to see. Each color listed below comes in 3 shades: Light, Medium, and Dark. In addition there is a set of assorted Skin Tones:
- Cherry Cobbler (item #130995)
- Coastal Cabana (item #131000)
- Daffodil Delight (item #130998)
- Old Olive (item #130999)
- Pumpkin Pie (item #130997)
- Rich Razzleberry (item #131003)
- Skin Tone Assortment (item #129370)
Accessories you’ll need to complete your Blendabilities collection include the Color Lifter (#129369) and Memento Ink Pad (#132708) and Refill (#133456).
Why do you need one more black ink pad? Because if you use either Basic Black or Black StazOn, the ink will smudge with the alcohol markers. Stampin’ Up! also recommends using Whisper White Card Stock with your Blendabilitiies for best results.
