Autumn is on its way, and Gently Falling is my go-to set for fall cards. Here’s my latest “celebrate fall” card for all occasions. All I need to do is add a greeting to the inside whether it’s for a birthday, thank you, or just thinking of you.
If you’re wondering what a two-step stamp set is, let me explain. Here’s a picture of the stamps in Gently Falling.
You’ll see that there are two versions of the same leaf, for example. One is what I call a background or a fill image, the other is the outline or accent image. When you use this set, you’ll stamp the background image first, then stamp the outline image on top of it.
You’ll love how easy it is to get striking results with two-step stamping. Watch this video to see how it works:
As you saw in the video, the Stamp-a-ma-jig is an essential tool for two-step stamping. It’s also essential for any stamp you want to make sure is positioned straight and right where you want it! If you want more instructions on using it, you can view it here: How to Use the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
