Truly Grateful for Fall

Truly Grateful is the perfect stamp set for fall projects, and ready or not, summer will be over soon.  Here’s one of the cards I created for the Mad Stampers Club projects for September.

Truly Grateful, Simple Version for Mad Stampers Club

Although this set is perfect for Thanksgiving, it will work for any occasion depending on the sentiment you use.  Since it’s a project for Club members only I can’t give much information about how it’s made.  But I can show you a video I created last winter on How to Create Notched Banners.

If you haven’t seen it yet, you may find it helpful to get those notches cut just right.  I know many stampers just use a square punch, but I found it frustrating to get the punch positioned precisely.  In addition, a square punch will only give a 90 degree angle.  With this technique, you’ll easily create accurate notches of any size and angle.

Leave a comment to let me know if you find the video helpful.  Once you start making banners, you’ll find they end up on a lot of your handmade cards, gifts, and other paper crafting projects!  That’s certainly been true in my studio.

THIS MAKES ALOT OF SENCE. THIS IS BETTER THAN TRYING TO EYEBALL IT ( TRYING TO CUT FROM THE END POINT TO WHERE YOU THINK YOU SHOULD STOP.) THANKS FOR ” THE BANNER VIDEO” .
