Did you know you can refresh your Stampin’ Up! colors with new color kits? If you’re like me, you want all the colors on hand so when you’re creating new handmade cards, scrapbook pages, or other paper crafting projects, you know you’ll have the perfect color without having to wait to place an order.
You’re probably aware by now that ten colors retired from the Color Collections in May, mostly from the Regals and Subtles collections. Some colors moved from one collection to another, and four of the five In Colors that would have retired were added to the main collections. It’s been a bit confusing keeping track of where to put the new colors in my organization scheme, and I needed to keep referring to the Color Refresh Chart. Perhaps you’ll find it helpful to take another look at the chart yourself.
Now that the retired colors are gone and the new catalog is here, you’ll want to take advantage of the New Color Kits to fill in the holes in your Stampin’ Up! Color Collections! The kits are a great way to save money on ink pads, card stock, and Markers.
For example, with the New Color Cardstock & Pad Kit, you’ll receive all the pads plus a pack of card stock with 2 sheets of each new color, for less than the price of the buying 10 pads separately.
In yesterday’s post, I showed you Three Ways to Use Stampin’ Write Markers, and explained the money you can save based on whether you order them singly, in Collections, or the entire set of 38 colors.
So what if you already have Many Marvelous Markers from last year, and you’e only missing the 10 new colors? You’ll save the most money by purchasing the Stampin’ Write Marker New Color Kit for $28.95, saving over $1 off each Marker if you bought them separately. Plus, you can’t buy the New Marker Colors separately, single markers are only available in a few select colors, and none of them are the new colors!
You’ll also receive a new insert for your Marker Case to help you keep the colors organized!
You can also save money when you buy the In Color Cardstock & Pad Kit. For the price of the 5 In Color Ink Pads, you’ll receive a set of pads PLUS a pack of card stock containing 4 sheets of each color. The In Color Kits are available for the new In Colors, as well as the In Colors from last year.
If you want to complete your set of Markers, don’t forget to order the In Color Stampin’ Write Markers Collection.
I hope you’re finding these tips about saving money on products in the new catalog helpful. Let’s face it, we could all go broke if we bought everything we like in the new catalog! I’m doing my best to help all my customers make the most of their stamping dollars, and the New Color Kits from Stampin’ Up! will do just that!
