Happy Spring Equinox

Happy Spring Equinox!  If you're still in the clutches of winter snow, don't despair.  Spring will arrive, and you'll revel in all the new green growth and colorful flowers that come with it.  In case you need a little reminder of what that looks like, I post photos from my garden on my Facebook Page, and the daffodils are definitely a welcome sight.

Here's a view of the earth from a satellite, showing what the equinox looks like from outer space.  The photo is from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), and the sun was superimposed so you can see the relationship between earth and sun on this day.

For those of our friends in the southern hemisphere, this must be your fall equinox, letting you know it's time to harvest what you've sown all summer, and get ready for winter.

Meanwhile, I hope you'll celebrate the wonders of our planet in our little corner of the universe!  Happy Spring Equinox!
