Cardmaking Technique Video: Reverse Masking

Stampin' Up! has a new cardmaking technique video on reverse masking I thought I'd share with you.  It's a fun and simple technique that you just might want to try on your projects.

Just imagine all the possibilities you could create with this technique on your handmade cards and paper craft projects!

The Big Shot Die Brandi uses in the video is one of my favorites, Beautiful Butterflies.  You'll love how quickly you can cut elegant butterflies with this die, as well as the the ease of layering different sizes on one card.

The other products Brandi showed you include this very classy and versatile background stamp, En Francais.  You'll find many ways to step up a card with this stamp, as it will turn a plain background or shape into something with texture and depth. You can see how it adds a subtle touch to a layer in this Vintage Valentine card.

One more essential item for the reverse masking technique is the Stampin' Spritzer.

Mix some of your favorite ink refill in the Stampin' Spritzer with alcohol (it dries faster than water) to get an even, fine spray of color.

Order these and other paper crafting products from my Online Stampin' Up! Store.  Then try your hand at the Reverse Masking Technique for cardmaking and papercrafting.
