Creped Filter Paper Butterfly

If you've been wondering what to do with the Creped Filter Paper in the new Spring Catalog, here's a handmade butterfly card I made last night.

Handmade card with Credped Filter Paper Butterfly from Stamping Madly

You'll love how fun the Creped Filter Paper is to play with, and I'm still experimenting with new ideas for it.  On this project, the layers were cut with the Beautiful Butterflies Die, sponged, stamped, and crumpled for a very 3-D effect.

The Spring Catalog is full of wonderful products for your paper crafting and cardmaking projects.  I wanted to make a card that would show you many of my favorites:  Tea Lace Paper Doilies, Delicate Details Lace Tape, Flower Trim, Tea for Two Designer Series Paper, and That's the Ticket stamp set.

You've already seen That's the Ticket stamp set and a Creped Filter Paper flower on this Valentines Day Card.  If you're like me and love making girly cards, then the Spring Catalog will have you drooling and making long wish lists!  Of course if your style is different than mine, you'll still find lots of products you'll just know you can't live without!

   Delicate Details Lace Tape #130966

The lace tape comes in two different designs:  The one I used on the card is from the spool on the left.  The other design is a strip of round little doilies.  They're both self-adhesive, so there's no muss, no fuss!  Each spool has about 3-1/4 feet of trim.

The doilies are 4" in diameter, and come 24 per pack for only $2.95.  The possibilities are endless if you like lacy things.

You'll love these soft little flowers on a background of tulle.  Use them singly, or add a strip of them to your project.  You don't have to be stingy with them, as you get two full yards in a package.  They can be sponged or dyed to change the color.  In the sample card I sponged the flower with Daffodil Delight ink.

Order these and other products through my Online Stampin' Up! Store.

I hope I've enticed you even a little to check out the Spring Catalog from Stampin' Up!  You can download it by using the button in the sidebar under "Catalogs," or if you want your very own copy you can thumb through, mark the pages, drool over, and look at without sitting at the computer, just send me an email ( with your address and phone number, and I'll put one in the mail for you.

Just imagine all the things you could do with the lacy, flowery embellishments you see on this Creped Filter Paper Butterfly card.
