One More Christmas Treat Box with the Fancy Favor Die

I just had to make one more Christmas Treat Box, using the Fancy Favor Die.  It is such a simple and elegant die, that I turn to it frequently when I need a presentation for a small gift.

I actually had all the pieces cut for this one, from when I used it as a free tutorial for my newsletter subscribers.  It uses the beautiful showflake pattern from Be of Good Cheer DSP, but I decided to make a different embellishment.

The rosette is made with Organza Ribbon and a 2-1/2" Jumbo Sticky Round.  In order to fit the ribbon flower on the box, I had to cut the sticky circle down to 2" in diameter.  If you have the Circles #2 Die that makes it really easy.  If you don't have that die, you can just cut it by hand.

The center was make with the new 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch from the new Spring Catalog that goes live on January 3rd.  On top of that is a Vintage Faceted Button with a bow of Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.  Since this box is for my friend Eva who loves the Mini Jingle Bells from last year's Holiday Catalog as much as I do, I had to add some just for her.

I hope you have all your shopping and wrapping and decorating finished already, and can relax and enjoy your Christmas Eve.  But if you need one more quick and easy last-minute Christmas Treat Box, reach for the Fancy Favor Die.
