Handmade Hanukkah Ornament

I had so much fun making the handmade Christmas Ornament I showed in the Mad Stampers Club post, that I just had to make one for Hanukkah.  I often spend the holidays with my friends who celebrate both, so wanted to give them an ornament for each.

I'm so glad Stampin' Up! has  given us this beautiful stamp set, Jewish Celebrations, so that we'll have something to give our Jewish friends and family at the holidays.  It is a perfect design for the Festival of Lights.  Here's what the other side of the ornament looks like:

The background behind the Star of David was stamped with the Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Pad, which gives a subtle shimmery effect.  The two stars and the menorah were embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.  The rosettes were hand-punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch, then hand scored with Simply Scored.

If you're Jewish, or have friends and family who are, then this is a must-have set for you.  I think Stampin' Up! got it right on this one.  Do you?
