An Evergreen Christmas

The Evergreen stamp set is a favorite this year for my handmade Christmas Cards. You may find it a must-have for your Christmas preparations, too.

Evergreen Handmade Christmas Card from Stamping Madly
This is a 2-Step stamp, and in this card, you can clearly see the three different tree images–one of which is the words to Silent Night.  There's also a silhouette stamp, and an outline stamp of the tree branches.

With today's card, you can see how Frost White Shimmer Paint  combined with Night of Navy Card Stock and Ink make a card worthy of the sentiments of Silent Night.  The outline stamp and the word stamp were both inked with Shimmer Paint, and the mats are Brushed Silver Card Stock for a subtle bit of bling.

Beautiful card Sage! I was wondering if you could substitute the new Illuminate ink for the Shimmer paint?

Wonder if I could get instructions for this card. Our Women’s Group at church want to make this.

Also, can I use the white ink instead of the Frost White Shimmer?

Thanks, Mary. Unfortunately I don’t have instructions for the card, and I don’t have the card anymore, so I can’t give you the measurements. You would just need to make three panels (and mats) the same size. If you don’t have the Evergreen stamp set, it’s still available from Stampin’ Up! until August 28th. As for the White Ink, you’d just have to experiment. I assume you mean the Whisper White Craft Ink? It might work, although the words and lines on these stamps are so fine, the ink may be a bit thick for the images. Frost White Shimmer Paint is available from, if the white ink doesn’t do well. Just search the Amazon site for Tsukineko all purpose ink, Frost White.

No, I’m in US. The stamp set retired years ago, though.
