Breaking News: Digital Sale Extended!

The Breaking News from Stampin' Up! is that the 31% off Digital Sale has been 31% off Digital Content and Printing Services at Stampin' Up!extended to September 14th.  All the digital content I've been showing you, plus select Print Products, will continue to be on sale for an extra two weeks.  Woo Hoo.  That gives you more time to download some extra digital content to play with during your 30 Day FREE Trial of MDS2.

Printing for all cards, postcards, photobooks, boardbooks, swatchbooks and individual pages are also 31% off until September 14th.  So if you've created some cards and scrapbook pages that you want professionally and beautifully printed through Stampin' Up!'s printing service, you've got extra time to get them ready to send off.

Why should you have things printed instead of using your home printer?  Depending on your printer and the type of paper you use, the colors may not be true to what you saw when you designed the project.  You'll have the best luck with a printer that has 5 or 6 color cartridges (plus black), and if you use photo paper that is the same brand as the printer.

I did an experiment with the Walk in the Park card I showed you last week. Unfortunately, the colors the camera saw don't match the card very well, but you can see in this example that the card printed on photo paper is much brighter, with better contrast.  And in person, the color is quite true to what I created in MDS2.

Print samples
The bottom card was printed on Whisper White card stock, and the colors are dull and washed-out looking.  Since the photo paper I use with my Epson Artisan Printer has only one printable side, I wouldn't be able to print anything on the inside of the card.  With Stampin' Up! printing service, you can design up to four surfaces of the card:  front, back, and two inside. The regular price for printing a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" card is $1.95, on sale for $1.31

If you're ever going to put together a photobook, this is a perfect time to do it.  You can keep working on the 24 pages (including the front and back cover) for another two weeks, then get the best printing price ever. Here are examples:

  • 8 1/2" x 11" hardcover photobook–regular $49.95, on sale for $34.47
  • 8 1/2" x 11" softcover photobook–regular $29.95, on sale for $20.67
  • 8" x 8" hardcover photobook–regular $39.95, on sale for $27.57
  • 8" x 8" softcover photobook–regular $24.95, on sale for $$17.22

If you want to see all the printing price options Download the MDS Pricing List (US).

Not all of the print products on the list are on sale, just cards, tags, postcards, photobooks, swatchbooks, boardbooks, and individual pages.  The sale prices are not on the price list, but will be shown when you place your order.

MDS2 makes ordering print services really simple, as there is a Print Wizard right in the program that will walk you through ordering and submitting payment.
