Another Hot Tip from The Hot Tip Queen

The Hot Tip Queen insists on stamps and layers being perfectly straight on cards.  She's The Hot Tip Queen at Stamping Madlyactually a little snooty sometimes about getting things perfect, and doing so efficiently.  We actually disagree here to some degree, since I believe perfectionism can be a huge block to creativity!  I'm satisfied with as-close-to-perfect as I can get.

I'll let The Hot Tip Queen tell you about her newest trick:

"You must get your stamped images and sentiments on straight, otherwise you can ruin a beautifully crafted card.  Always draw a line where you want your stamp, and use the Stamp-a-ma-jig to position it precisely.

"I've seen too many cases where a stamper is so eager to erase that darn pencil line after stamping the image or sentiment, that he or she smudges the ink, and then ruins the project after all.  This will not do!

"With impatience like this so prevalent, I decided to teach this little trick.  Once the Stamp-a-ma-jig image piece and handle are positioned, remove the image sheet.  Being careful not to move either the handle OR the card stock (easily prevented by using Dotto to attach it to your Grid Paper), erase the pencil line BEFORE you stamp!  So simple, so effective!"

The Hot Tip Queen can be a little bossy, can't she? But we do agree on the Stamp-a-ma-jigIt is one of the most important tools in a stamping studio.
