Tax Time Again!

OMG, it's tax time again, and all I've got is a box full of receipts, paypal transactions, and credit card statements.  I'll bet everything isn't even in there!   Why did I do this to myself again?

Tax Time at Stamping Madly!I promised myself last year I'd file stuff EVERY week.  My New Year's resolution was to get my office at least 75% as organized as my stamp room.

Did I do it?  Noooooo.  I would look at the piles and go stamp instead, because that's fun, and sorting piles makes my ADD brain go "tilt".  Bad choice.  Now here I am, my appointment with the accountant is on Friday, and I'm starting from square 0.  Geez, what was I thinking?!

I'm afraid I'll be MIA from Stamping Madly for the rest of the week with my box of receipts, an adding machine, and tax forms.  Yuck.  No posts, no videos, and no more stamping until I get it all done!

Tax Time Frustration25897631If you don't hear from me by Friday, send me an email to see if I'm still alive.  I may have been lost in an avalanche of paperwork.  Or pulled all my hair out.  Or gone off the deep end.  You get the idea.

What about you?  Are your taxes filed, your piles neat and orderly, and you're sitting pretty in your stamp room?  Am I jealous?  You bet!  At least leave me a comment with some encouraging wordsIt's tax time again, and I'll be chained to my desk every spare moment this week!

Sage, I so relate! UGH. I too, promised I would stay ahead all year.. and did I do it??? NO.. it isn’t nearly as fun as stamping, designing, having clubs, having tea parties!!! So, I like you, spent 3 days last week making it all happen. My deadline was Friday.. I think I finally sent all the paperwork tot the accountant around 11 pm!
Will i do better this year??? Get back to me on that….

    Good luck!

April Fools! I really am more organized than all the receipts in a box–it really helps, especially since I run two businesses. But it still takes time to put all the numbers in the Tax Organizer from my accountant. I had been wondering what to do for an April Fools post, so when I was working on taxes on Saturday it seemed like the perfect liitle hoax! See you on the Thursday call,
