Wonderful Wisteria Wonder

Wisteria Wonder is a wonderful shade of purple, but for some reason, every time I reach for it, I shake my head and choose a different color.  Which surprises the heck out of me, since I'm a purple kind of gal!

So I'm on a mission!  It can't be that hard for me to use such a lovely purple.  I figured I just hadn't hit on the right combination yet, and decided I'd start with Wisteria Wonder and build my palette around it.

Combining it with Elegant Eggplant was an easy choice, and the contrasting Pear Pizzazz really sets off the two purples.

Creative Elements with Wisteria Wonder

The beautiful dahlias from the Creative Elements stamp set were embossed with Elegant Eggplant on Wisteria Wonder.  The background is Whisper White stamped with the flourish from the same set in Wisteria Wonder.

Creative Elements includes this elegant tag stamp as well, and I added the sentiment from Loving ThoughtsBasic Rhinestones add a bit of bling, and the Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding provides a stunning background.

You've probably noticed how I strive to create interest and texture in my backgrounds. This time I chose the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder for the Elegant Eggplant layer, then sponged it with the same color ink for a rich, deep effect.

I find Wisteria Wonder sometimes looks grayish. Combining with Elegant Eggplant as you did really brings out the purple. TFS!
