Stamping Studio Inspiration

My stamping studio doubles as an indoor garden room, and constantly provides me with great inspiration as the orchids and other flowering plants bloom.

Most of the orchids are dormant now, although a few are sending out some flower spikes that will bloom within a month. This season is for the awesome, jaw-droppingly beautiful amaryllis. The blooms only last about 10-14 days, but boy do they make that time count!

I sent out my newsletter on Saturday, and included this photo of an Amaryllis bud about to open.  Two days later, I took these photos, and thought you might like to have your jaw drop, too!  The name of this variety is Black Pearl, and it is the most stunning Amaryllis in the studio.  The blooms are about 9" across.

Stunningly beautiful. The color looks like a cross between Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry. TFS!
