Stampin' Up!'s new Framelits and Edgelits are great tools for making beautiful handmade cards. I showed you two card this week using Labels Framelits, Heart Framelits, and Scalloped Edgelits. I included product pictures from my Online Stampin' Up! Store, but I don't think they give you a very good idea of what the Framelits and Edgelits actually look like. So I took photos of the dies themselves.
They come in a sturdy see-through plastic envelope with a snap closure that makes storage a breeze. One side is flat and the other has a cutting ege. It isn't very sharp, but when squeezed by the Big Shot, makes a very clean cut.
The exciting thing about Framelits is that they coordinate with stamp sets, so you can cut out a stamped image quickly and easily. After stamping the image, like this one from Apothecary Art, you just position the Framelit over it. Since the cut is made by the inside edge of the Framelit, you don't have to guess if you have it positioned correctly. You can see exactly where to place it over the image.
Edgelits come in two styles in the Adorning Accents set. They coordinate with the Adorning Accents Embossing Folders, so you can get a really elegant edge on your projects. Here's an example of the Scalloped Edgelit with the coordinating Adorning Accents Embossing Folder.
I hope this gives you a better ideo of how these great new tools work to create beautiful paper craft projects. If you haven't seen it yet, Click Here to download the Occasions Mini Catalog.
