Christmas seems to call out for candlelight, and here's a Holiday Tea Light Holder you can make from aluminum flashing and the Flower Folds Die from Stampin' Up!
This simple candle holder only takes a few minutes to make, and the embossing adds some elegance to an otherwise plain project. Just imagine 2 or 3 of them down the center of your holiday table. To help you make that vision real, I've made a video tutorial for you on How to Make a Holiday Tea Light Holder.
I found the aluminum flashing in the roofing department at a building supply store. You need the 6" width in order for it to fit through the Big Shot, and a 25 ft. roll was about $12.
You'll also need Stampin' Up!'s exclusive Flower Folds Die. In addition to tea light holders, you can make lovely fabric flowers to use as brooches or embellishments for just about anything! Of course you can also use it with card stock for 3-D flowers on handmade cards, scrapbook pages, and gift boxes.
The Big Shot and an Embossing Folder are next on the list. Here are two folders that work really well for this project.
