Handmade Thanksgiving Card: Autumn Splendor

Did I mention that I LOVE to make fall cards?  Maybe you've guessed because of all the samples using French Foliage that I showed you last week.  Autumn Splendor is another of my very favorite Stampin' Up! sets that is perfect for the season.

Don't you love the Cajun Craze with Old Olive?  Throw in some More Mustard and it is definitely time for falling leaves!  I embossed them with Craft Inks (Cajun Craze, Old Olive) and Clear Embossing Powder. The Emboss Resist technique creates a subtle background that repeats the leaves and lighter versions of the colors.

The Stripes Embossing Folder gives lovely texture to the  Cajun Craze background. The sentiment is from the Grateful Greetings set, and embossed with White Embossing Powder.

You know I couldn't stop until I found a place for a bow!  The ribbon is Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding, and the Antique Brad is the perfect embellishment.

If you love projects with fall themes, then this stamp set is a must-have!
