Welcome Fall with French Foliage

Fall is here, and I'm loving it!  The summer heat has gone, the days are gloriously sunny without being oppressive, and the nights are deliciously cool!  And today is my birthday.  I created this card in honor of autumn, birthdays, and gratitude:

French Foliage from Stampin' Up!

I used my favorite fall leaves set, French Foliage.  The main colors are Bravo Burgundy, Cajun Craze, More Mustard, and Very Vanilla.

French Foliage with Distressed Wallpaper Technique

I used a combination of two of my favorite techniques for the background panels, Faux Pearl and Distressed Wallpaper.  You can see a video on the Faux Pearl technique HERE, and the Distressed Wallpaper HERE.  I embossed the sentiment (from the Grateful Greetings set) in Bravo Burgundy Craft Ink and Clear Embossing Powder.

Beautiful Butterflies die cut with Paper Daisies from www.stampingmadly.com

I had a lot of fun with the butterfly.  I stamped it with the leaves from the Best Friends Forever set,  splotched on some Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint, and sponged it with Cajun Craze.  I love the tiny Paper Daisies with Regals Brad centers.

French Foliage is a great stamp set from Stampin' Up!  I've created a variety of moods with it.  Here are two examples I made last year:

I'll have another one to show you on Friday, with a technique video to go with it.  Meanwhile, if you're inspired to see what you can co with this set, click the image below to order it from my online Stampin' Up! Store!
