Handmade Christmas Card: Joy to the World!

September is here, and that means Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Mini is live!  Here's another sample from my favorite stamp set, The Sounding Joy:

I love this stamp with the words to "Joy to the World" laid out in a star pattern.  It is stamped in Always Artichoke, and makes a great background for the elegant font embossed in Cherry Cobbler.  I used Very Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler card stock circles, and added Gold Lame Smooch Spritz.  The Always Artichoke background is embossed with the Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder.

I used the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding in a way that makes the card look like a wrapped Christmas present.  The double bow is topped with a Garden Green Designer Button from the Regals collection.  I couldn't resist the Mini Jingle Bells, tied with Cherry Cobbler and White Baker's Twine.

If you're wanting to send handmade Christmas cards to some or even all of the people on your list, it is NOT TOO EARLY to start!  The Holiday Mini is a perfect place to shop for the supplies you'll need to WOW your friends and family.  Here are some of the things I used in this card:

OMG Sage that is beautiful. Too bad you’re not swapping on Friday; we are all truly missing out.
