Vintage Card: Wild West with Bow

I have another "tooled leather" card to share with you.  As with the one I showed you yesterday, I've used the Designer Frames and Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folders.  I used the same Distressed Wallpaper background technique as in yesterday's sample, only this time I crumpled and tore and sponged it more. You can see the other Wild West card HERE.

The background for the medallion was done with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder.  I sponged all the embossing to accentuate it, and added an Antique Brad in the center of the medallion.

I used the Paper Piercing Tool to embellish the large oval mat.  I like how it repeats the theme of dots that is around the embossed oval.  A bow with Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon and a Vintage Trinket button-brad seemed like just the right finishing touch!

I'm working on editing a video on techniques for the Designer Frames Embossing Folder, and hope to have it posted by Friday. Meanwhile, here's a video tutorial on the Distressed Wallpaper Technique.

If you're ready to try these techniques and need supplies, CLICK HERE to go to my online Stampin' Up! Store.

By the way, if you're looking to get your fingers inky, the Distressed Wallpaper Technique will surely do the trick!  Happy Stamping!
