I have another "tooled leather" card to share with you. As with the one I showed you yesterday, I've used the Designer Frames and Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folders. I used the same Distressed Wallpaper background technique as in yesterday's sample, only this time I crumpled and tore and sponged it more. You can see the other Wild West card HERE.
The background for the medallion was done with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder. I sponged all the embossing to accentuate it, and added an Antique Brad in the center of the medallion.
I used the Paper Piercing Tool to embellish the large oval mat. I like how it repeats the theme of dots that is around the embossed oval. A bow with Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon and a Vintage Trinket button-brad seemed like just the right finishing touch!
I'm working on editing a video on techniques for the Designer Frames Embossing Folder, and hope to have it posted by Friday. Meanwhile, here's a video tutorial on the Distressed Wallpaper Technique.
