Cardmaking Design Tip: Rule of Thirds

Here’s a Sunflower card I showed you at the beginning of the month, as I featured it for the FREE cardmaking tutorial in the August Stamping Madly Newsletter.

I also shared a video in the newsletter about how I used the Rule of Thirds to create and effective design when positioning my sentiment and image.  Now I am posting the video publicly on YouTube, and thought I would share it with all of my blog visitors as well.

Happy Stamping!

Thanks for sharing this awesome tip. I always did most of my embellishments in 3–3 buttons, 3 brads, etc, but did not know about the rule of 3. Thanks again.

Fantastic video. Your explanation of the rule of thirds is simple and easy to understand and I love the vellum tool. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the video. I had been thinking about this rule and thought of making myself a template. You saved me some time in the “figuring out” stage. Thanks!
