How to Emboss with Two Different Embossing Folders

I am really excited about the new double embossing technique I learned this week and wanted to show you what it looks like.

Here is a card I made using the Finial Press and Framed Tulips Embossing Folders.  What an elegant background to set off the lovely images from Fabulous Florets!

Here is a sample of the embossing on Blushing Bride card stock so you can see it better:

I embossed the leaves with VersaMark and Wild Wasabi Embossing Powder.  The flowers were embossed with Concord Crush on Blushing Bride card stock–for instructions on how to heat emboss when you don’t have Craft Ink in the color you want, see this post: Three Ways to Heat Emboss with Stampin’ Up! Colors.

Buttons and Bows from Stampin' Up! Here is a close-up of the bows–you have probably seen this style before, as I often embellish a bow with a small button tied with crochet thread.  The ribbon is Blushing Bride 1/2″ Stitched Poly.

I thought I would do a video for you to demonstrate this type of double embossing, which I learned from Julie Hilliard.  Thanks Julie!  I also want to show you another double embossing style, so be sure to check back!

Meanwhile, go get your fingers inky so you will know you are having fun!  Happy Stamping!
