Vintage Cardmaking Technique: Distressing the Tapestry Paper

A couple weeks ago, I posted a video on making Tapestry Paper, like I used in this card:

I promised some follow-up videos on more vintage techniques.  Here is a video which shows how I distressed the Tapestry Paper.

I hope this video inspires you to try some vintage projects.  As you might have noticed in the video, all the sponging to get the distressed look will do a great job getting your fingers inky!  Maybe that is part of the charm of vintage style for me.

    Very nice video, Sage. I can tell you really like distressing and mangling… Great tips about sponging the creases and place where the paper split. I’m good about doing the edges, but I never thought to sponge the creases. TFS!
