Video Tutorial: Faux Pearl Technique with Elements of Style from Stampin’ Up!

I am loving this new technique I learned.  The Faux Pearl Technique uses Shimmer Paint to create a lovely patina-like finish to a project.  It is definitely a great addition to my vintage projects.

I have created a quick little video for you.

You can see in the video that in this project I used Very Vanilla card stock.  You get a different effect when you start with Glossy White card stock.  You will be seeing more of this technique here at Stamping Madly, because I am having lots of fun seeing what I can come up with!  I hope you will try it, too.

Here is what you need to create that Faux Pearl look on your projects.  If you don't have any, click here to go to my online Stampin' Up! store.

Frost White Shimmer Paint from Stampin' Up! Check back soon, I have a Mothers Day project using this technique that I will show you later this week.  Now get off the computer and go get your fingers inky!
