We Had a Blast at Design Class!

I know what my stamping table looks like when I am designing a project.  After a while it is so full of stuff as I try one thing after another, my work space has dwindled to about 6 inches square!  If I am good about it, I will stop and clear off the things I am finished with so I can keep working.  Know what I mean?

When six people are designing, that makes at least six times the mess!  Here is a photo of the table during design class on Saturday:

It was wild!  I asked each person to choose a stamp, either one they brought from home, or one from my collection.  Then they each chose a card sketch and a color challenge. Everyone was working on their own design, utilizing the design elements we have been learning about:  Focal point, texture and dimension, color combinations, working with sketches, etc.  They each started with the image and built their card around it.  I was busy moving around the table helping each of them when they needed it.

Here are the cards they came up with:

03 05 11_0103_edited-1 Janelle Varner

Michael Candelaria

Jennifer Weaver

Cherie Baker

I think they all did a great job, don't you?  Which is your favorite?
