3 Ways to Use Crystal Effects

Are you looking for an easy way to get some WOW into your projects?  Crystal Effects will do just that.  If you haven’t used it yet, here are three ideas for you to experiment with:

1.  This is a great glue!  When I am attaching odd shapes together, Crystal Effects will really hold.  Here is the Christmas Fancy Box you saw in Monday’s post.  No other adhesive would securely attach the cones to the flat card stock.

Don’t know what to do if a stamp comes loose from its wood block?  Crystal Effects will glue it back on very securely.

2.  Make things POP! Cover parts of your stamped image with Crystal Effects to make them stand out. The roses on this project look almost 3D and very shiny.

3.  Need a brad to make an image stand out?  Don’t have the color you want?  Easy.  Punch out a circle of any color card stock, cover with Crystal Effects, and when it dries, you have a “faux brad.”

Keep in mind that Crystal Effects takes longer to dry than other adhesive we tend to use.  So after you use it , set your project aside for a while to let it dry–anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour depending on how thick a coat you added.
