If you haven’t met the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets in the Holiday Mini Catalog yet, let me introduce you! I think this is one of the best additions to the Stampin’ Up! line of merchandise this season. It has great adhesive power and is very versatile in how it can be used. Here are some examples:
1) Here is a WOW technique: Stamp image on piece of card stock. Cut a piece of Adhesive Sheet slightly larger than the card stock. Peel the printed layer off the the Adhesive Sheet and place the image piece face down on the adhesive. Rub the back of the image sheet to transfer the adhesive to the card stock. Then peel the backing away from the adhesive. The image piece will now be covered with a thin film of sticky-ness. Drench it with Dazzling Diamonds, and voila! you will have an impressive focal point for your project.
2) The Adhesive Sheet works really well when you want to attach fabric to card stock. I used it to cover a journal with fabric. And it works very well when you want to cut it with a Big Shot Die. The scalloped edging on this project was done with the Tasteful Trim Die. Just cut your fabric and Adhesive sheet slightly larger than the die cut. After removing the printed layer, attach the Adhesive Sheet to fabric. With the backing still in place, run it through the Big Shot. Then remove the backing and attach it to your project.
3) You can also use these sheets to attach embellishments to card stock, like I did with this Crochet Trim. I put the Adhesive Sheet on some card stock, then punched out a circle. Then I was easily able to pleat the trim around the edge of the circle, pressing into the adhesive with each pleat.
Then I took another circle I had punched from card stock/adhesive sheet, and placed it on top of the Crochet Trim to hold it all in place.
I hope you now have a sense of how quick and easy it is to use Adhesive Sheets in your projects. Feel free to email me if you have any questions, and remember to put Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (120805) on your next order!
