Mild sunny days, longer nights, and crisp morning air let me know that fall is indeed here. Bright yellow flowers hint at the color the trees will soon be turning. Are you needing some inspiration for a fall card? Here is one you might want to try
I have always loved this garland from the stamp set Harvest Home (111642) but haven't sat down to create a card with it until this week. I stamped the image a couple of times, lining it up with the Stamp-a-ma-Jig. The first time I used the stamp right side up, the second time I turned it upside down so the twining branches would match up. I colored the leaves with Blender Pens and Markers–Peach Parfait, Cajun Craze, and Baja Breeze. Then I brushed on some Gold Lame Smooch Accent Ink (119968) to give it some nice shimmer.
The background on the focal piece is En Francais (109521) stamped with Crumb Cake ink. It is layered on Baja Breeze and Peach Parfait.
The card base is Bravo Burgundy. I stamped the leaf from Autumn Harvest (110372) in Gold Encore Ink to give some texture to the background.
All in all this card evokes the smell of fresh apple cider and green chiles being roasted at the Grower's Market. The aspens are turning in the mountains and I am grateful to live in such beautiful surroundings. I hope fall is as inspiring to you, wherever you live, so that you want to capture its essence in your stamped creations. Let Stampin' Up! provide the images.
