Just Believe–Stamp-a-Holics Challenge

Morning Glory
And a happy Friday morning to all of you.  I'm so glad you stopped by to see what's new at Stamping Madly.  It is Stamp-a-Holics challenge day, and this week we have a sketch from Lesley Croghan:
And here is my rendition:
I decided to pick a color combination from Stampin' Up!'s new Color Coach,
and I really like what I found.
I started with Wild Wasabi
and looked to see what the Coach suggests
to combine it with:
So Saffron and Perfect Plum.
Yummy combo, and definitely in my comfort zone.
It seemed like the perfect combination for this stamp from the set
Just Believe.
What a great set, it is fast becoming one of my favorites.
I am certain you will be seeing more of it here.
I inked the stamps with Perfect Plum and Wild Wasabi Markers
on Very Vanilla Card Stock.
The Square Lattice Die provides great texture for the background layer,
and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch
makes great accent strips.
The Subtles Designer Buttons provide perfect little details.
Lil T ran off to another job before I could get his picture, but he says it took me 17 minutes to finish this card.  I don't seem to be getting any closer to the 10 minute mark, but it sure is fun trying!  Hop on over to Carole'Anne's blog here to see the other design team samples.
If you don't have the Color Coach yet, I highly recommend it.  What a great tool for learning different ways to combine colors.  Many of the combinations are ones I wouldn't have thought of, and so I am stretching in the way I conceptualize color.
Remember, you can place an order for the Color Coach and any other Stampin' Up! merchandise just by clicking the "Order Here" button at the top of the right sidebar.
