Bells & Boughs–Christmas in August

Stampin' Up! is gearing up for the holiday season, and the new Holiday Mini Catalog will be released on September 1st.  I received my preorder from the catalog on Friday and wanted to show you some cards from a great new stamp set, Bells and Boughs.
These cards also use the Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding–a luscious new "ribbon"
that ties and drapes beautifully.
I used it on this card as well.
Here you can see how I used Tea Stain ink to age the image piece.
The Distressing Kit in the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog
has this and four other inks,
as well as a set of files for distressing the edges of the card stock.
If you are as drawn to the vintage look in your projects as I am,
this kit will be a great addition to your tools.
The stamped images were colored with the Aquapainter and Stampin' Write Markers,
and Gold Lame Pearlized Accent Ink for the flower centers.
I also used the Color Spritzer and some Gold Glow Smooch Spritz.
Other items used in these cards:
Card Stock:  Always Artichoke, Brushed Gold, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler
Designer Series Paper:  Deck the Halls (Holiday Mini)
Embellishments:  Linen Thread, Designer Buttons.
Check back soon for more projects using items from the new Holiday Mini.  And if you wish you could preorder from the new catalogs a month before their release, think about becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  For more information email me by clicking on the "Contact Me" button in the left sidebar.
