Big Doings at Stampin' Up!

This is a really exciting time for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and customers.  The new catalog comes out in July, so this is our transition month.  What does that mean?  Well, first off it means that we demonstrators have had a chance to see a Sneak Peek of selected items from the new catalog.  Not only that, but we could start ordering items from the Sneak Peek starting yesterday, including:

New colors of card stock, ink, markers,
some stamp sets, Designer Series Paper, a new punch,
some new Big Shot items, ribbons, etc., etc.
So let me tell you, the online ordering site was hopping yesterday.  Now we are waiting patiently for our orders to come, except for the really obsessive demos who paid for next day shipping.  They are already playing with their new toys, and even showing projects they have made.

Another exciting thing happening this month is Stampin' Up!'s Sign Up Special.   If you have ever considered becoming a demonstrator yourself this is a great time to do jump in and join the team.  Not only would you be able to get the early peek at catalog items and order things you want before customers do, for the month of June Stampin' Up! is offering a Mini Starter Kit for new demos.  To become a demonstrator you must purchase a Starter Kit.  What is so great about this kit?  The price, for one thing.  The regular Starter Kit sells for $199.  The Mini Starter Kit is $99, so you can save $100 if you join by June 30.  To see a list of the items in the kit, click on the Join Now button in the left sidebar.  Then contact me HERE so I can answer any questions and help you get signed up.

Transition month means one more thing as well:  Last Chance Lists.  Every June Stampin' Up! publishes a list of all the stamp sets, accessories, and Definitely Decorative items that will retire when the new catalog comes out on July 1st.  So this is the time to look at the lists and see if there are any items you have been wanting that will no longer be available after June 30.  Stamp sets you have been drooling over, colors that are retiring that you might want to stock up on, and ribbons, brads, and other accessories that are going away.  You can click on the buttons on the left sidebar to see the Last Chance Lists.

Keep in mind that if there are accessories you want, they are available until the current stock is depleted, so if you wait, you might miss out.  Popular items can sell out in a few days.  The best way to order Last Chance Accessories is to order online HERE.  If an item is sold out, you will get a message to that effect when you inter the item number on your order.  And if you have any questions, be sure to contact me.

Here are some pictures of the stamp sets that are retiring.  Just click on the image to see a bigger view.

So there you have it, all the news from Lake Wobegone, no, I mean from Stampin' Up!  Don't miss out on these great opportunities to stock up on retiring items, and to become a demonstrator at a fantastic price.  Now I am off to make room in my stamping studio for the new colors, stamp sets, and accessories I ordered.  See you Friday morning for the Stamp-a-Holics Challenge post.
