Bloomin' Beautiful

I have a quick post for you today.  This is a card I did for a swap with my hostess group.  I used an old Splitcoast Stampers sketch.

The image is from the set Bloomin' Beautiful.  It is stamped on Watercolor Paper and colored using the Aquapainter and Watercolor Crayons.  The DSP is Presto Patterns from the Summer Mini, sponged with Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant, then spritzed with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz.

Card stock is Pale Plum, Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive.  The Old Olive mats don't show up in the photo as well as in person, but the color combo is dynamite.  The ribbon is retired, from the Holiday Mini.

Have you tried the Presto Patterns Designer Series Paper yet?  If not, I encourage you to do so.  You may have seen a lot of my recent samples using it.  I love it.  It is already embossed, white on white, so you get to add whatever colors you are using on your project.  Very fun.

When I first saw this photo in the Summer Mini, I was underwhelmed.  It really takes seeing it after adding the color to see how great this paper is.  It is a nice heavy weight, also, so you can use it for boxes and other 3D items very nicely.  You can order it on my Stampin' Up! website HERE.

I like it. Lots of visual interest with the unique triangular mats behind the image. TFS.
